Directions to Circle S Ranch

The East Lawrence Exit is closed for construction until November, so here are some alternate directions so you can find us!

Directions from I-70 coming from Kansas City or Western Kansas

Take Turnpike (I-70) to the second Lawrence Exit 202, which will be McDonald Drive.  Go South on McDonald Drive and follow the signs for exiting onto Hwy. 40/59 North. You will have to go under Iowa street and follow a right curve to exit onto Hwy 59. Continue along Hwy. 40/59 (also labeled as 6th Street).  This will take you East along 6th street and you will eventually turn left and go over the KS River.  Keep following this road, and once out of Lawrence, continue on Hwy. 59 approx. 3 miles until Hwy. 59 curves off to the left; watch for County Road 1045.  (Right across the street from a white old-fashioned gas station). Take a right (still going north) on CR 1045, a blacktop road, for approx. 5.5 miles. Watch for small green and white numbered street signs.  Take a right at 35^th St., a gravel road.  Go approx. 2 miles to the entrance to Circle S Ranch on your right, which will be a private drive.  Drive south on the lane; stone posts will guide you down the lane to the rich valley where the inn is nestled.

From K-10 & Lawrence

From K-10 Highway or Lawrence go north on Massachusetts St. across the Kansas River (Massachusetts turns into North 2nd St. and 59 Highway North). Stay on 59 highway approximately 6 miles. Turn right on CR 1045( look for a feed store on your left 1045 is across from that) traveling 5.5 miles to 35th St. Turn right on 35th St., approximately 2 miles to Circle S Lane

Directions From Kansas City Using Tonganoxie Exit

Take the Kansas Turnpike (I-70) Tonganoxie exit.  When you reach Highway 24 turn left away from Tonganoxie. Follow this until you come to a stop light in North Lawrence. Turn right onto Highway 59 N. Follow 59 north stay north on Hwy. 59 approximately 2 or 3 miles until Hwy. 59 curves off to the left. As you approach the curve, begin watching for County Road 1045 (CR 1045).(there is a feed store to your left across from your turn) Take a right (still going north) on CR 1045, a blacktop road, and drive approximately 5.5 miles. Watch for small green and white numbered street signs. Take a right onto 35th St., a dirt road. Go approximately 2 miles to the entrance to Circle S Ranch & Country Inn. The entrance will be on your right, and will be on a private drive. Follow the stone posts south until you come to the Circle S, then park in front of the Inn on your right.

Directions from Topeka using Highway 24

Take I-70 East to Exit 358 to Highway 75 North for 1.7 miles.  Merge onto US-24 East towards Lawrence and follow for approximately 20 miles.  Turn Left onto E 1400 RD/CR-1045, which is across the street from a white gas station (Midland Farm Store).  E 1400 RD/CR-1045 becomes WELLMAN Rd continue for about 5 miles, there will be Circle S signs along the way.  Turn RIGHT onto 35th Street continue on 35th Street for about 2 miles.  The driveway will be on the right hand side with a long private drive.
